June 12, 2017

Hello all! This week has been awesome. We had a great experience with
Elder Massimo DeFeo of the Seventy this week. He taught us a lot of
great stuff! I will share some thoughts that came to me as we learned
about faith from him.

This week has been quite hectic and busy.  Some highlights include a
guy named Bo who loves to try to bash with us so much that he referred
himself to us. 🙄
Also, we got Krispy Kreme today for breakfast. #spoiled

We are excited for some of the work that is going on here in Windsor.
We are meeting with a family with a husband named Gary and a wife
named Shelly. Their son is named Jackson. They are really great! They
invited us over for dinner and we had a good time. They committed to
read the Book of Mormon daily as a family. We are excited for them! We
know that they will be blessed as they continue to exercise their
faith and move forward towards the Savior.

Speaking of faith, I'd like to share some things we learned from Elder
DeFeo. He taught us about how we need to have faith in order for
miracles to occur in our areas. He taught us that faith always
precedes the miracle, and at that moment, I had an "aha!" moment.
The greatest miracle ever performed was the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
In order for us to see this miracle change our lives and cleanse us,
we must first have faith in Jesus Christ! This true faith in Christ
will motivate us to repentance, and when we repent, "immediately the
great plan of redemption will be brought about unto us"! (Alma 34 I
think)

I am so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It
is the truth! It will change our lives if we but exercise faith and
are baptized unto repentance. I invite all of you to exercise faith in
Jesus Christ by repenting this week before you partake of the
sacrament. I know you will feel yourself changing, bit by bit, into
the person that God wants you to be!

Have a great week!

❤️ in an appropriate way
Elder Bush
