I'll keep this short.
If you're getting this email, you have made my mission the best two years of my life. I want to thank you for that. You've played a huge role in my mission, whether you realize it or not.
Quick scripture.
Doctrine and Covenants 128:19 and 22
Now, what do we hear in the gospel which we have received? Avoice of gladness! A voice of mercy from heaven; and a voic e of truth out of the earth; glad tidings for the dead; a voice of gladness for the livingand the dead; glad tidings of great joy. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that bring glad tidings of good things, and that say unto Zion: Behold, thy God reigneth! ...
Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forwardand not backward. Courage, br ethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing . Let the [spiritually] dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which wouldenable us to redeem them out of their prison; for the prisoners shall go free.
One of the many things I've learned on my mission is this:
Serve God with all of your heart, might, mind, and strength, and He will never forget you. You will also never be happier.
I love you all. You missionaries, feel free to throw me on your weekly emails if you want.
Thank you all so much for everything you have done for me. Keep in touch!
The Book of Mormon is the word of God. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. He loves you. You are a child of God. You can always repent, no matter what you've done.
With all of the appropriate love in the world,
Elder Robert Jonas Bush
