June 26, 2017

Hello everyone!

I hope that this week has been good for you! It has been really great for Elder Fraser and me. We have seen some cool miracles and learned a lot. We were able to go on two exchanges this week, which was great. I spent some time with some awesome missionaries and learned a lot from them!

We also had an awesome experience this Sunday. This week we have been praying a lot about the work in our areas. We have been trying to figure out how we can get it rolling and how we can begin bringing people to Jesus Christ through baptism. This Sunday, after much prayer and fasting, we saw some super super cool miracles!

------miracle minute-----
First, we had 3 investigators come to church, which was 2 more than we had even planned for! 2 of them just kinda showed up and 1 definitely wants to meet with us! The other one was brought by his member friend and we will be following up with him later in the week to see how it goes. He did take a copy of the Book of Mormon though, which was awesome! Then we also had a less active family with 5 children come to church this week after not coming for a long time! That was super amazing! None of the daughters have been baptized either (3 are of age) so we will have some work to do! It was such a miracle to see this family come back after not coming to church for such a long time! I know that it took a lot of courage for them to do that, but they will be so blessed for it!

The greatest miracle was in the members of the wards though. Several of them approached us about how they wanted to be better at missionary work and how they wanted us to come over and teach them about how to use Preach My Gospel! This is something we have been working at for a long time, so it was super cool to see that! Now is the time for us all to work together to bring forth the Lord's work!

Also, in my studies this week, I read in Alma 5 about how we need to be stripped of pride. Ive been pondering that a lot. Am I stripped of pride? It is impossible for us to live the gospel fully if we do not strip ourselves of pride. We need to be truly humble in order to have faith in Jesus Christ and be baptized unto repentance so we can be clean and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The gospel is so wonderful and it is so real!

appropriate love! ❤️
