First off, it is so amazing to have a temple in Fort Collins. We were
able to participate in the dedication of the temple on Sunday, which
was so amazing! President Uchtdorf came and dedicated it. It was so
awesome! What a blessing it is to be able to have a temple so close
by. Words cannot describe how strong the Spirit was yesterday during
the dedication. It will be a great blessing to the people in Colorado
and Wyoming.

My companion is still super awesome! I am learning so much from him,
and we are able to see lots of miracles in Cheyenne. We had a zone
meeting on Friday and I learned a lot, so that was super cool. It is
still windy, but we have been able to meet lots of really nice people
here, so that's great.

My spiritual thought for this week is about dedicating ourselves to
the Lord. There are many parallels between the dedication of the
temple and the dedication of our lives. One that I thought was super
awesome was in the dedicatory prayer of the Kirtland temple, which can
be found in section 109 of the Doctrine and Covenants.
Verse 12 says: "That thy glory may rest down upon thy people, and upon
this thy house, which we now dedicate to thee, that it may be
sanctified and consecrated to be holy, and that thy holy presence may
be continually in this house"

It reminds me that we need to continually be dedicating and
consecrating ourselves to the Lord through living the doctrine of
Christ, and we will always be able to feel His holy presence
continually through His spirit.

I just love the gospel and the many parallels that we can learn from.
