October 10, 2016

Awesome! Hahaha the nights are pretty starry. Cheyenne is relatively big for wyoming, (60,000 people )so it's not as pretty in the city, but when we went to nebraska and when we went north of the city, it was definitely very pretty.
We drive a lot, and like i said in my email to dad, i thought it was a YSA ward, but it turned out not to be. :/ but that's okay because the wards we are in are pretty cool.

And it is getting colder.

I love those pictures and videos! I tracked you on find my friends and caught you on the way to the temple! That is so awesome! And gideon is super cute. Give him a hug for me. Also, give reuben, and evelyn, and micah, and troy, and owen a hug for me. But not leslie. Just kidding, give leslie a hug too hahaha
I miss all of you guys a lot. But it's okay- like you said, it is worth it to leave you guys for a little while to preach the gospel. Being a missionary is so totally awesome.

Group Email:

People are super nice here in Wyoming! Tracting is drastically
different. In Colorado, most people will be kinda rude, but here
everyone talks to you! It makes knocking doors a lot easier.

But i still super miss loveland! Especially because it is cold and
windy up here.
We are covering two wards, which makes for interesting stuff. My
companion is elder coleman. Words don't describe how great he is.
Also, words don't describe his screams. Watch the videos attached. If
you can't watch them, i will explain. He screams really loud and
really high, so we scare him all the time.  (Dont worry sister smith, i haven't scared him too bad
yet.)

Also, i folded my clothes this week. Yep, living at the smiths
instilled some great habits into me, that's for sure.

Also, we made a surprise trip out to nebraska to switch cars (because
the mission office needed their truck by the next morning) with some
sister missionaries. Long drive. Interesting experience. To make a
long story short, their phone was dead, but we were both miraculously
in the same city so we were able to switch cars with them.

Also. Please read elder oaks talk from this past conference. Amazing.
We need to remember that there are millions of God's children every
day who look for the truth but they know not where to find it. (Forgot
the scripture reference, sorry)
I don't want to ever pass up the opportunity to offer these people
here in cheyenne true joy and happiness which only comes through the
gospel. That would be truly devastating. I don't want to have to look
Heavenly Father in the eye at judgement day and say-
"Oh, i'm sorry, i didn't share the only true way to eternal salvation
with that person because i was afraid of ________" fill in the blank.
Nothing you could possibly say to fill in that blank would justify
that statement. This is the reason we are here on earth! To share the
gospel and to come unto Christ, the only true way to joy and
happiness! We must share it with those we see.

Appropriate love to you all, and apologies to those i didn't email. I
am thinking and praying for you :)
