There's not much more to say besides that. Whenever I can stop being
selfish and focusing on myself, I have so much joy. Seeing the gospel
change the lives of the people I share it with is such a blessing.
Anyways, it snowed, and it was a lot. But everybody keeps telling me
that it really wasn't, and it's all melted now so I guess I was just
overreacting. Either way, it was a lot of fun. Elder Farnes and I made
a new investigator. His name is Olaf. He likes warm hugs.
We finally had an investigator attend sacrament meeting this week, and
it was really awesome to see his reaction, he loved it.
This week I just want to share my testimony of the simple power a
testimony can have, especially when the person bearing that testimony
is sincere. Hearing a sincere testimony invites the Spirit like almost
nothing else. The Spirit sanctifies and inspires change, therefore,
testify as much as possible, because your investigators will feel that
Spirit and desire that change for themselves.
Not only that, but your own testimony will grow so strong as you bear
it frequently.
I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Jesus
Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that by Him and throughHim, all
mankind can be saved. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father
and Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove.
I know these things just as surely as I live and breathe. I love my
Savior and I love all of you (appropriately)

I am studying and learning so much!!! I can't even begin to tell you about all the things I'm learning. One hour each day is not neaaaaaaaarly enough. When 9:00 rolls around I'm always disappointed.
This week though there have been a couple of things in particular.
First, I'm learning a lot about the Fatherhood of Christ. Mosiah chapter 5 is really cool at explaining about why Christ is sometimes called the Everlasting Father.
I'm also learning a lot about the Spirit's role in conversion. Mosiah chapter 3-4 is super cool for that. And the other day I was reading in Enos and realized that it is a really good blueprint for receiving answers to prayers. It has helped me a lot as I pray and strive to have faith, remembering that faith without works is dead. And that faith is a principle of action.
I'm also learning a lot about agency and the fall of Adam and Eve. And also a lot about the Divine Sonship of Christ.
But most importantly, I'm learning daily from the Book of Mormon and that's the most important thing because the Book of Mormon is so Christ centered in everything it's teaching.
Make sure you always read the Book of Mormon every day as well. It is such a blessing.

What a beautiful, sincere and simple testimony. Thank you for sharing it. I love Olaf and feel sad that in the sun he melted, small, small, small!
