Hello! I love you guys and miss you guys! The MTC is amazing, I'm learning so much and changing so much! I'm especially learning about my purpose as a missionary. It can be confusing sometimes but as long as I remember that my sole purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ and experience the miracle of the Atonement in their lives, everything falls into place. My testimony is growing so much and I'm really getting to love all the people I'm teaching.
It's been overwhelming with all the stuff that the teachers throw at us, but as i stay focused on my purpose, everything becomes easier.
We have investigators here at the MTC, which is really cool because they are hired investigators who are either recent converts, returned missionaries, or a real investigator. Only about 10% of these 'investigators' are actually not members already, but it is still really so amazing to practice inviting others to Christ. My companion is Elder Allen, like I said in my last email. He's really cool and very enthusiastic. Definitely a morning person. IN fact, he wakes up every morning at 6 AM instead of 6:30. he turns the lights on and everything. I got used to it. I had to. But seriously, he's great, he helps me a lot when I'm struggling.
We are the zone leaders now... and its weird because we get to help train new missionaries coming in today.
really I can't even describe how much i'm changing. I don't even recognize myself anymore compared to last week. The Atonement of Christ is so real, and it can help with anything and everything. It's changing me so much more.
What's really cool is how much the Spirit is here. The MTC mission presidency said that although we (the english speaking missionaries) are not learning a new worldly language, we are learning the language of the Spirit, and its hard but also amazing. I can truly say that i am beginning to feel the spirit at almost all times during my day.
we went to the temple today and we stayed there for around 4.5 hours. it was really good to focus on how Christ is the center of everything.
Love you all! Feel free to use this email and spread it around in some sort of bloggy thingy because i dont have a lot of time haha
